Our Team

Our team is made up of experienced engineers and technicians who bring both deep technical expertise and a strong commitment to service. Many of our staff have been with us for 25+ years, and several hold master’s degrees, giving us a rare blend of long-term institutional knowledge and advanced technical skill.

Micro Support Group was founded with a simple mission: to deliver reliable, personal, and expert IT support. Over more than four decades, we have grown to support over 250 clients, many of whom have been with us for 25–35+ years. From the beginning, we set out to be more than just a service provider; we became a true extension of our clients’ organizations, working closely with them to understand their systems, their people, and their goals.

As technology evolved, so did we, expanding into managed IT services, private cloud infrastructure, and modern security solutions to meet the growing demands of our clients. Whether supporting enterprise organizations, chemical distribution companies, or mission-driven nonprofits, we remain committed to delivering dependable technology solutions that keep businesses running securely and efficiently.

1983 / Founding

Where it all began.

Founded in Reading, Massachusetts. Started helping clients realize the business potential of micro computers. Installed the first Apple 3 network in Rhode Island.

1999-2000 / Y2K

Keeping systems running through uncertainty.

Supported clients through the Y2K transition. Micro Support Group began being a “Cloud” in the mid 90s.

Early 2000s / Intranet

Early adoption of connected workplaces.

Provided clients with scalable cloud services to run their business systems.

2010 / Leadership

A new generation joins the team.

Dayna Morton, Bruce’s daughter, joins Micro Support Group.

2010s / Private Cloud

Laying the foundation for modern services.

Launched a private cloud platform for managed hosting, helping eliminate on-site hardware for clients.

2017 / Acquisition

Expanding cloud capabilities.

Acquired BSU Cloud Services.

2017–Present / Growth

Scaling to meet demand.

Expanded datacenter capacity while introducing sovereign AI services. Launched our fully redundant private cloud platform for managed hosting and services.
